Privacy policy
This explains what Deployment Labs (“we”) collects through deploymentlabs.ai, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email hello@deploymentlabs.ai.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us, plus basic information about how the site is used.
- Your details, when you use a free tool, start a course, unlock a course output, fill in the onboarding questionnaire or get in touch: your name, work email and organisation, and your role or website if you give them.
- What you send with them: your answers to a tool or questionnaire, the document it produced (for example a readiness scorecard or a draft AI usage policy), or the course output you unlocked (for example your aim page), and a team code if you entered one.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your name and email address, when you join our newsletter.
- Booking details, when you book a call or a consultation: what you enter in the scheduling form. The paid consultation is paid through the booking provider's payment processor. We don't receive your full card number.
- How the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, and your device and browser type, collected by Microsoft Clarity.
Your course answers stay in your browser. As you work through a course, your progress and answers are saved in your own browser's storage, not on our servers. They only reach us if you choose to unlock a module's output, and then only that output.
How we use it
- To give you what you asked for: tool results, access to a course, your course outputs and your bookings.
- To reply when you contact us, and to prepare for any call you book.
- To send you our newsletter, if you joined it.
- To email you about a course and related resources, if you agreed to that when you started the course or unlocked an output.
- To understand how the site and courses are used, and to improve them.
- To keep a record of who we're talking to, as any business does.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to train AI models.
If you join our newsletter, we'll email you AI news we think matters to business owners. Starting a course or unlocking a course output includes agreeing to receive emails from us about that course and related resources. We record the wording you agreed to and when. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or you can email hello@deploymentlabs.ai and we'll stop. Using a free tool doesn't sign you up for anything.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf, only for the purposes above:
- GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), our CRM. Contact details, form answers and the documents you send are stored there, and our emails are sent from it.
- Vercel, which hosts this website.
- Microsoft Clarity, for site analytics.
- Our booking provider, whose scheduling form is embedded on the booking pages, and its payment processor for the paid consultation.
- Automation tools we may use to route form submissions into our own systems.
We'll also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and what you sent us for as long as we have a reason to, such as an ongoing conversation or working relationship, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept according to Microsoft Clarity's retention settings. Anything saved in your browser stays there until you clear it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose, and you can withdraw your consent to emails at any time. Depending on where you live, for example in the UK, the EU or California, you may have further rights under local law. To use any of them, email hello@deploymentlabs.ai. We'll reply within 30 days. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and browser storage
Microsoft Clarity uses cookies to understand how the site is used. The embedded booking form may set its own cookies. Our courses use your browser's local storage to save your progress, your answers and your video settings. That stays on your device. You can block or clear cookies and storage in your browser; the site still works, though a course will forget where you were.
Where it's processed
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, they use recognised safeguards for international transfers.
Children
This site is for organisations and the people who work in them. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
