Everyone's first hour with AI
What your organisation is aiming for, what you've been promised, and the five duties that let everyone use AI well, in about an hour.
Almost everyone uses AI at work. Few have been told how.
So people guess, keep quiet about it, and paste things they shouldn't. One shared hour fixes most of that.
of employees say they've been properly trained to use AI
BCG, AI at Work 2025
have uploaded company information into public AI tools
KPMG and University of Melbourne, 2025
of desk workers are uncomfortable telling their manager they use AI
Slack, 2024
Five things everyone needs to know, and a record of it.
About an hour in all. Each lesson has a short narrated video, a few exercises, and two quick checks.

Run it as everyone's first hour, in the first week.
Leaders agree the goal, the promises and the guardrails before the session, in module 1 of Your first 90 days with AI. This course is where everyone hears them.
One hour, everyone at once, with a leader in the room to answer questions. Share a team code so everyone's record is collected under it.
Each record shows what the person can say back about the aim and promises, and the questions they still have. Keep them as evidence of AI literacy, and answer the questions.
Questions about the course
We can run the first hour with your whole team.
Deployment Labs runs this session on site or on a call at the start of a rollout, with your leaders in the room and your own tools and rules on screen.
